Emily Cafarchio

She was the cherished mother of Frank and his wife, Dale, of Newburgh; Gina Lubeck and her husband, Peter, of West Nyack; and Patricia McFadden and her husband, John, of Nanuet.

She was the adored grandmother of John, Ashley, Kevin, Amanda, Kelsey, Jillian, and Jeffrey, and the loving great-grandmother of Johnny, Joey, Brooklyn, Brynn, Zoey, Jack, Anthony, and Luciano.

Emily adored her family and was a wonderful nanny to everyone she met, even those who were not related to her. Her warmth, kindness, and loving nature made everyone feel like family. A lifelong dog lover, Emily also leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Lucy, Desi, Ricki, Freddi, and Vivi, who will miss her dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Nanuet, with entombment to follow at St. Anthony’s Mausoleum. Arrangements are being handled by Higgins Funeral Home in New City.
