George A. Roberts of Pomona, 87 years old, passed away on September 7, 2018. George was a long time resident of Rockland County. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Theresa. He is survived by his four children, George and his wife Deborah, Lynn and her husband Fred, Keith and his wife Melissa, and Pam and her husband Dave. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was a Stone Setter with Local 84 New York City for many years and also served as a past president. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his cat Maddie. He will be missed by all the know him and forever be in our hearts.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home followed by a private burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
