It is with great sadness that the family of Harriet Cohen announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at the age of 90 years. Harriet was born in the Bronx, New York.
She worked full time as a secretary for St. Regis/Champion Paper Company for many years while raising and caring for her family. Harriet was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of 63 years, Ronald Allen Cohen.
She is survived by her 3 loving daughters, Rhonda (Jon) Henry, Sheryl (Elliot) Fruhschien and Brenda (Steven) Herskowitz. Harriet will also be forever missed by her 6 cherished grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Krychear, Andrew (Michelle) Fruhschien, Gary (Dana) Herskowitz, JJ (Jackie) Henry, Jason Fruhschien (Ruby), Daniel (Susie) Herskowitz, as well as her 9 great-grandchildren, CJ, Harper, Emily, Noah, Trip, Hailey, Hudson, Carter and Harrison.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Joe Raso Hospice for their compassionate care.
