She had her family and friends around her during her final battle and Good Samaritan Hospital worked so hard to save her. She is survived by her husband, Joe of Tomkins Cove, NY; daughters Ashley (and fiancé, Chris) of Nanuet, NY; Christine of Spring Valley, NY; sister Diane of North Port, Fl; grandson Cameron of Tomkins Cove, brother-in-law Stu of New City; nieces Jen (Jerry) and Carleigh (fiancé Danny) and nephews Michael (Heather), Erik and Christopher; great nieces Lola and Zoe and great nephew Gabriel. She was predeceased by her parents Howard and Eleanor and brother-in-law John.

A native of Queens who moved to Rockland in 1980, she was lucky to have many friends who shared her love of life, music, sports, politics and always humor.

In lieu of flowers, well wishers are asked to make a donation to People to People, Rockland's food pantry at www.peopletopeopleinc.org.

A wake and chapel services will be held Thursday, June 22nd at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Hours from 2-4 and 6-9. Service at 8pm.
