Born on August 22, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, Pasquale was raised in Williamsburg, where he developed the strong values of hard work, loyalty, and devotion to family that would define his life. He proudly served his country for seven years in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged on June 24, 1964.
In 1976, Pasquale founded Viking Sea & Air Freight, a full-service customs broker and freight forwarder. Through dedication and perseverance, he built a respected business and left a lasting mark on colleagues, clients, and friends alike.
Above all, Pasquale’s greatest passion and proudest achievement was his family. He was a devoted husband of 68 years to his beloved wife, Jean, and a constant source of strength, guidance, and love to his children and grandchildren. He led by example—quietly, consistently, and selflessly—showing what it meant to be present, dependable, and deeply caring. His love was steady, his wisdom was trusted, and his presence brought comfort to those around him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Pascarella; his children, Patrick, Richard, and Jeannine; his daughters-in-law, Jane and Silvia; his grandchildren, Patrick, Patrick Francis, and Brendan; his sisters, Phyllis and Theresa; and his sister- and brothers-in-law, Evelyn, Frank, and Tony. He was deeply loved, profoundly respected, and will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi's Church, 128 Parrott Rd, West Nyack, NY 10994, US, on May 1, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
