Aimee Lee Salaun, a New Orleans native and hospitality worker, passed away on July 14, 2021 at 47 years of age. Aimee loved music, and she was even a musician herself. Her instrument of choice was the guitar. She had a great love of all animals, but she had a particular fondness for cats. Most of all, she loved her two children, Kristen and Brandon.
Aimee is preceded in death by one of her brothers, Daniel Salaun. She is survived by her children, Kristen Salaun, age 24, and Brandon Comstock, age 19; parents Janice Liang (David) and Gerald Salaun; and brother, Andrew Salaun.
A memorial mass will be held for Aimee on July 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W Metairie Ave, Metairie, LA 70003. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 a.m.
Flowers are accepted; the family asks that floral gifts should be sent to the church for the memorial mass and that basket arrangements are preferred. In lieu of flowers, please considering donating in Aimee’s name to Catholic Charities or a Cat Rescue Group of your choice.
