Aline D. Quinlivan

Aline was devoted to her family and loved sewing. She was the seamstress for the family; making, mending, and altering clothing for whoever asked. She enjoyed cooking family dinners for all holidays and family occasions. Aline and her late husband Harold were founding parishioners of St. Clement of Rome Parish. Their lives were devoted to St. Clement of Rome. Aline was an active member of the Altar Society for over 40 years. She helped arrange the flowers on the altar weekly for many years. She designed and arranged flowers until she could no longer do so. She enjoyed gardening and was a long-time member of the Ferran-Taft Garden Club. Aline and her husband loved Mardi Gras balls and spent many years actively involved in the Krewe of Zeus.

She was preceded in death by her dedicated husband of 39 years, Harold Quinlivan; parents, Robert and Verda Dauterive; and her brother, Robert Dauterive.

Aline is survived by her children, Tina Quinlivan Heirsch (Alvin) and Robert Quinlivan; grandchildren, Paris Quinlivan Hackett (Donald), Taylor Heirsch Thorp (Justin), Blake Quinlivan (Victoria), Rebecca Heirsch, and Madeline Quinlivan; great-grandchildren, Jadyn Hackett, Jaylah Hackett, Julian Hackett, Aubrey Johnson, Kennedy Thorp, Reagan Thorp, Katherine Quinlivan, and Meredith Quinlivan; as well as her sister, Carolyn Miorana.

Relatives and friends are invited to Aline’s services on Monday, June 29, 2026, at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Ave. Metairie, LA 70002. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at noon. The Mass will be presided over by Reverend Joseph Krafft. Interment to follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124.
