Allen Joseph Poche

Allen J. Poché, age 94 years, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at his home in Jefferson, LA. Beloved husband of 70 years to the late Lillian K. Poché. Loving father of Ellen Poché Polanski (Edward) and Clifford E. Poché (Stacey). Grandfather of Anthony S. Rotolo, Christopher M. Poché, Rebecca R. Relle, Shawn M. Poché, and Jonathan M. Poché. Great grandfather of Gracie Poché, Nicholas Rotolo, Michael Relle, Gavin Poché, Brady Poché, Nathan Rotolo, Emme Poché, Stella Poché, Lily Relle, Alexis Rotolo, and Leia Rotolo. Also survived by his sister, Audrine Layman and numerous nieces and nephews. Allen served his country in the US Navy Seabees during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 267, Jefferson, LA. He was the Owner/President of Poché’s Upholstering and Refinishing, Inc. since 1951. He loved traveling with his wife throughout the world with the Wally Byram Airstream Club. His greatest passion was hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.
