Amilynn was preceded in death by her parents, John J. Clesi, Sr. and Norma Fox Clesi; stepmother, Ramona B. Clesi; brother, John J. Clesi, Jr. (Elaine); and sister Norma Jean Ducoing (Les).
Survivors include her sister, Carol C. Wedig (Brian); nephews and nieces, John J Clesi III, Norma C. Yount, Julie C. Charpentier, Michael Clesi, Tammy D. Sccarengos Kelly D. Wilbert, Lesa D. Kelley, Lesley Ducoing, and Paul Wedig; and many great nephews and nieces.
For 13 years Amilynn was Sr. M. Annuciata for the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary’s. For the remainder of her career, she was a teacher and counselor at East Jefferson High School (3 years) and Bonnabel High School (25 years).
Amilynn had many friends whom she loved and cherished. She never met a stranger and never said no to anyone in need.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am prior to the service. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.
