Andre Delery Couturié

Andre Delery Couturié (91) Lt. Col. USAF (Ret) passed away on July 11, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Reese Couturié, father of Stephen Couturié (Donna), Peter Couturié (Anna), Betsy Giaimo (Bruce), Kay Couturié, Lou Johnson (Quentin), and Meg Couturié. Grandfather to 12 and great-grandfather to 18. Brother to the late Thomas Couturié, Sr. Judy Couturié and the late James Couturié.

Del was a native of New Orleans and a graduate of LSU. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Newfoundland, and continued to work in the USAF Reserves, acting as a ROTC Liaison officer for the last 12 years of his service. He worked for RCA for 33 years at various locations in the US. Del was involved in Catholic parish organizations throughout his life, and, upon retirement, became very active in the Knights of Columbus. He and Jeanne enjoyed traveling around the country and visiting family. He was well-loved and will be missed by many.
