Angel Mary Hebert

Angel Mary Hebert, age 59, beloved daughter, sister, nanny, and friend died on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center. Angel was born on September 18, 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Allen and Mary Hebert Sr. She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School and Phillips Junior College.

Angel had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and attended Church of the King. She was looking forward to returning to in person services.

Angel loved living and giving to others. She had a caring heart, and her family and friends knew how important they were to her. She had a passion for the Saints, LSU Football, Mexican food, movies, bracelets, and socks. She loved music, knew the words to every song, loved watching cooking shows on TV and playing cards with her family.

Angel was the first born and the first miracle for her parents. She was the light of their eyes.

Angel is now reunited with her beloved father, Allen J. Hebert. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring mother, Mary Beck Hebert; her sisters, Torrie Hebert and Ashley Hebert McGaha (Michael); her brother, Allen Hebert Jr. (Mary); her much loved nephews, Christopher Hebert, Peyton McGaha, and Reece McGaha; her niece, Paige McGaha.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Suma Satti and Michelle Thomas, RN for the excellent care provided to Angel over the past 3 1/2 years. We also appreciate the kindness and compassion of Angel’s coworkers, the doctors, and staff of the Ochsner Department of Ophthalmology.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124.
