Angela Laurie passed away on August 6, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born on March 10, 1930 in New Orleans to the late Frank Sciambra and Josephine Sciambra. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Laurie. She is survived by her loving children, Bonnie Carr (Gene), Glenn Laurie (Beverly), Dale Laurie, and Craig Laurie; her sister, Mary Seibert; her adoring grandchildren, Brandon Laurie, Kasey Boudreaux (Jeff), Samantha Carr, Jonathan Carr (Kasey), Julian Laurie, Sherry Campbell (Todd), Kellie Johnston (Mike); and her great-grandchildren, Kirk Maronge, Madison Maronge, Ethan Armstrong, Taylor Campbell, Ella Boudreaux, Thomas Carr and Reid Carr; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 9:00 a.m., immediately followed by a catholic service at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, 70121. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Due to current state mandates, masks are required indoors.
