Ann S. Emmett, age 86, on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Daughter of the late Ezra and Dorothy Sartain. Wife of the late Francis Emmett. Mother of Jane S. Emmett, John F. Emmett and Robert S. Emmett. Also survived by five grandchildren. Ann was born in Jacksonville, FL and resided in New Orleans from an early age. She was a graduate of Newcomb College. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Inurnment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
