Daughter of the late Charles Andrew Schillin and Aurelia Bisso Schillin. Sister of the late Charles Andrew Schillin, Jr. A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Anne attended Newcomb College and the University of Colorado in Boulder. In her early years she enjoyed spending summers at her family home in Ocean Springs, MS. In the 1950’s, she spent two years in New York City working for Ogilvy and Mather. Later on she was involved in charity work for Cystic Fibrosis and The New Orleans Opera. She worked as a successful recruitment consultant for several years and loved working with people. She was an avid swimmer, reader and bridge player. Anne was quite the talker and always the life of the party. She was constantly smiling and her infectious laughter lifted people’s spirits. Anne never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was a happy, vivacious, fun-loving person and she never met a stranger. Anne will also be remembered for her unique voice, beauty, graciousness, style, compassion, kindness and witty sense of humor. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten by her family and all who knew her. Memorial Services will be private and interment will be at Metairie Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, March 4th 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at New Orleans Country Club.
