Anthony B. Gladstone, 88, passed away on December 27, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Gloriadine Gladstone and his daughter, Karen G. Porter. He is survived by his grandson, Myron Porter, Jr. (Danica) and his granddaughter, Marya Porter Byers (Virgil); great grandchildren; Myron III, Aneysa, Myles, Amiya, Nolan, Evan and Aubrey; and a host of nieces and nephews. Tony worked as a Chief Steward at Lykes Bros. Shipping for over 50 years and though he traveled the world, there was no place like his home New Orleans. He was also a Korean War Veteran in the Army as part of the 65th Ammunition Depot. He will be dearly missed by his family and those who loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 7300 Crowder Blvd. in New Orleans on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m.
