Anthony “Tony” Todaro, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, April 11th. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius “Tony” Todaro and Mary Palmisano Todaro; wife, Lorraine M. Todaro; partner, Alma Crawford; step-children, Don Nelson, Leslie McGregor, Linda Ramesy, and David Nelson; brother, Donald I. Todaro. He is survived by his children Anthony Todaro, Jr., Theresa Theriault, Douglas Nelson, and Donald Nelson, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He retired from BellSouth (AT&T) and Hilton Hotel. Tony served in the United States Navy. He coached Touro’s Lady softball and basketball. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America where he was the International Wagon Master in 2001, and a Kentucky Colonial. Tony enjoyed family, traveling, and sport. Services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM followed by a Mass at 2:00PM.
