Audrey Ferran La Rose

On Sunday, January 17, 2016, Audrey La Rose went to be with her Heavenly Father. She was 88 years old. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Clotilde Vidou Ferran. Beloved wife of the late Golden La Rose. Loving mother of Denise La Rose Genovese, and the late Susan La Rose Dessommes. Grandmother of Lauren Dessommes Brignac (Jeffrey). Great grandmother of Aubrey Claire LaBourdette and Shelby Honoré LaBourdette. Sister of the late Lawrence Ferran, Jr. Mother-in-law of Robert Dessommes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Audrey was born and raised in New Orleans. She worked at Ochsner Clinic for 15 years, and retired in 1992. She was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church for 59 years. Audrey was a member of the Jefferson Council on Aging and Jefferson Golden Age Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM.
