Audrey Aucoin Lanoux

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Paul Robert Lanoux, Jr.; her parents, Andrew and Lucy Aucoin; and her siblings, Annabelle Schexnailder, Andrew Aucoin, Jr., Bonnie Netterville, and Janice Dugas.

She is survived by her four children, Judith Lanoux, Peggy Lanoux Howard, Paul Lanoux, II, and Dr. Scott Lanoux (Sharon); her grandchildren, Genevieve Silverman, Bradley Hamner, Missy Folse, Morgan Lanoux Cross, Grant Lanoux, and Hannah Lanoux; and her great-grandchildren, Lucy and Walter Silverman, Katie Hamner, Dustin, Sage, and Tatum Folse, Dawson, Noah, and Grace Cross, and Evelyn and Blaire Lanoux.

Audrey’s career spanned over 40 years as a registered nurse, working at both Mercy and Methodist Hospitals. She was a member of AORN.

The family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Inspired Living in Kenner for the care and compassion they gave Audrey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Garden of Memories in Metairie.
