Audrey Archote Pecquet, at the age of 82, was called home by our Heavenly Father on November 2, 2014. Wife of the late Lt. Col. Shelby L. Pecquet, Sr. Mother of Linda Hurstell (Malcolm), Diane Nichols (Mark), Shelby Pecquet, Jr. (Tina), Patricia Menard (Jay) and the late Donald Pecquet (Connie). Sister of Gert Broadbridge. She is preceded in death by her parents Toledo and Victor Archote, Sr. and brothers Victor, Jr. and Milton Archote and sister Joyce Reid. She is survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and raised her family in Jackson Barracks, New Orleans and Kenner, LA. She was of strong Catholic Faith and did volunteer service at St. Maurice Catholic School. Audrey will be truly missed by family and friends. May she rest in peace. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 12:00 NOON. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
