Audrey Faris Simpson, born May 3, 1931, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 17, 2026, at 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Herbert Simpson, and her parents, Dr. Henry and Sybil Faris. Survived by her special cousin and godson, Nick Faris, Jr. and other close relatives, Theresa, Mary, Beth and Frances. Special thanks to her caregivers Francia, Patty, Rosie and Vicki, and special friends, Debbie and Marianne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Monday, February 23, 2026. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until Mass begins at 1:00PM. The mass will be officiated by Fr. Alex Guzman. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
