Barbara Ann McCloskey

Barbara Boudreaux McCloskey passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 83 years old. She was born in New Orleans in 1940 and was a resident of Metairie since 1970. She is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Ethel Boudreaux, her siblings, Lois, Malcolm, Francis, Beverly, and Lorraine. She is survived by her husband Patrick J. McCloskey and by her children Kean (Melody), Michael (Connie), Colleen (Raleigh) and Darren. She was the grandmother of Krystle (Aaron), Kourtney (Zach), Michael (Thalia), Kelsey, Joshua (Mary), Kyle, and Delani and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was a parishioner of St. Benilde Catholic Church for many years and was a faithful volunteer. Her family would like to thank her caregivers from Passages Hospice and Right at Home Nursing Care especially Shawn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00pm, Visitation will begin at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Metairie Cemetery in All Saints Mausoleum.
