It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Beverly Berniard Bazile on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the age of 82. She was a loving wife, mother, Maw Maw, sister, friend, and a devout Catholic. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, George Bazile on March 9, 2021; her sister, Barbra Berniard; and her parents, Roy Berniard and Anna Mae Berniard. Beverly is survived by her son, Jeffery Bazile; daughters, Debbie Menkiewicz and Vicki Candebat; granddaughters, Jessica Bazile and Carly Candebat; grandsons, Jude Bazile, Jeremy Bazile, Ryan Menkiewicz, and Blake Candebat; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Beverly is also survived by her brother, Roy Berniard, and sister, Bonnie Radecker, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service for both Beverly and George at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
