Blanca Lidia Reyes

Blanca Lidia Reyes passed away on July 15th, 2026, at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, LA, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 16. 1950 in La Ceiba, Honduras to the late Maria Trinidad Moradel and Pablo Lopez.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel A. Reyes. She is survived by 4 wonderful children, Dinora Mejia (Isai), Lesly Reyes, Manuel Reyes (Tiffany) and Lidia Murillo (Cesar). As well as 2 sisters, Gloria and Santos, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Blanca was a hardworking woman who was passionate about spending time with family, shopping, and spending time on her phone on social media platforms. Blanca was always smiling and loved to dance, even if it meant dancing with her walker. She was extremely compassionate and loved helping others. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday. July 25, 2026, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 12 PM – 2 PM with a funeral Mass to begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
