Brantley was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 24, 1953 to John Hilliard, Sr. and Olivia Johnson.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Andretta D. Murray-Hilliard; his daughters, Kecia R. Moore (Dwayne), Brandi Dobney and Whitney M. LaFrance-Wilson (Fred); his son, Brantley Hilliard II (Amber); sister, Diane Hilliard-Pope; brothers, YaYa Yahib Bayan, Rev. Frederick Allen Hilliard, Donnell Hilliard and Thaddeus Hilliard; and grandchildren, Randy Robinson II, Vaughn Robinson, Devyn Robinson, Justin M. Wilson, Brien and Brandon Hilliard, Treion Hilliard and Christopher Dobney Jr.
Brantley is preceded in death by his daughter, Keion Hillard-Kruger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of
Life service on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. held at Grace and Glory Family Worship Church International, 802 Third St., New Orleans, Louisiana, officiated by Pastor Eileen Lumar-Johnson.
