Brenda Lee Steele Hotard passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the age of 59. She was the loving mother of Danielle Hotard (fiancé Oliver Reynolds), the late Angela Cecilia Hotard (Billy Walters) and the late Stephen Hotard Jr. (Fawn Bercegay). She is also survived by her husband, Stephen Hotard Sr. and her beautiful grandchildren; Moses Hotard Kidder, Midan Hotard Kidder, Mariah Walter, Jake Hotard and Vincent Hotard. She was born on July 22, 1957 to her parents; Shirley D’Antoni Steele and Ben Steele. Brenda is the sister of Shirley White, Yvonne Lee (Wayne Winter), Shelley Ward, and the late JoAnn Lamartina. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and family members. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Celebration of Life at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:30PM.
