

Camille Boudreaux Steen, born June 25, 1954 in New Orleans, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the age of 70. Camille attended Riverdale high school, class of 1972, and the University of New Orleans. She worked for Siemens building technologies for over 20 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Management. She is preceded in death by her parents, Camille Clay Boudreaux, Marion Rose Thibodeaux, her brother Camille Clay Boudreaux Jr, and her husband, John Francis Steen. Camille is survived by her son John F. Steen, Jr, (Stacey), daughter Julie Steen Daley (Chad), and her grandchildren, Chase R. Daley, Jackson R. Daley, Ethan J. Steen and Emma J. Steen, her sisters Linda T. Boudreaux, and Lydia T. Boudreaux, and many nieces and nephews. Camille’s light was bright and certainly went out too early. She is loved, and will be missed by many.
Camille loved her community at Lake Ramsey, traveling with friends and family, and all types of outdoor activities.
A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of the North American Martyrs at Jesuit High School, 4133 Banks Street, Saturday, July 12, 2025. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00am - 11:45am with a Mass immediately following.
