She graduated from Academy of the Sacred Heart, Grand Coteau, LA and attended Dominican College and belonged to St. Angela Merici Parish in Metairie, LA. She had been a resident of New Orleans/Metairie for the last 79 years.
Mrs. Carmen had two marriages. 1st to Daniel L. Kirschenheuter Jr. which ended at his death and 2nd marriage to Donald Humphrey which also ended in his death.
Mrs. Carmen had 5 children from Dan. Lisa (deceased), Chris, Donna, Jill (deceased), and Todd. She had two step-children from Don, Holly and Regan of Washington State.
Mrs. Carmen lived a full life and touched many with her friendly personality, art work, and service to God. She will be missed.
Visitation will be July 16th from 10:00 to noon with mass following at noon at St. Angela Merici Church, 835 Melody Dr. Metairie, LA 70002. Following mass, interment will be at Lake Lawn Park, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Reception to follow at Mrs. Carmen's home.
