Carol Blush Flach

Carol B. Flach, of Kenner, Louisiana, died on Tuesday, March 24,2026. She was 82 years of age. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Robert Harold Blush and Annie Marie Schaeffer: sister, Hilda B. Carbo.

Carol was the wife of Barry M. Flach Sr.(deceased), and is survived by her three beloved children, Barry “Rusty” M. Flach Jr., Michael R. Flach, and Michelle Flach Bruno; six grandchildren, Vincent J. Bruno (fiancée, Erica), Kristen E. Bruno (husband, Christopher), Marlena B. Castro (husband, Owen), Michael R. Flach Jr., Cody J. Flach, Anthony M. Bruno; and nine great-grandchildren, Vincent J. Bruno Jr., Alyson C. Varuso, Marlie J. Bruno, Norah M. Bruno, Sadie R. Wells-Ciolino, Josiah E. Bruno, Giovanni H. Trewin, Julian A. Bruno, Sofie M. Trewin. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Adolph J. Flach Sr. and Claire A. Flach; sister-in-law, Nancy F. Habisreitinger (husband, Robert), sister-in-law, Clare Uzee; one of her best friends, June Bertucci Daffan (friend, Nick); and her godson/nephew Ronald W.Carbo Jr.

Carol was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s Dominican College. Carol was a teacher for Jefferson Parish Public Schools her whole life. She love teaching. She loved spending time with her children and great-grandchildren. She also loved shrimping with her husband, Barry, and family. Carol will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
