Carole Grand Lacoste

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rene Lacoste, Jr.; her two daughters, Bonnie Tumbagahan and Connie Taranto; her two sisters, Joyce Carcioppolo and Shirley Kearney; her granddaughter, Courtney Simonson; and her parents, Milton and Clara Wire Grand.

Carole is survived by her four daughters, Reynell Marquette (Mark), Renee Catalanotto, Rhonda Fink (James), and Robin Simonson; her grandchildren, Amanda Blaum (Jason), Michael Marquette (Regan), Jessica Locascio (Ashton), Brett Taranto, Jr. (Dominique), Heather Tumbagahan, Colby Tambagahan, Bradly Fink, Matthew Fink, Gilbert Simonson, Jr. (Paige), Nathan Catalanotto, Noah Catalanotto, and Owen Catalanotto. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Brett Taranto, Sr. and twelve great-grandchildren.

Carole was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, and will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:30AM. The interment will follow the Mass at St. Louis Cemetery No. III.
