To Amy and Family,

I remember Ms. Cathy from my days at Maison Blanche when I was in college. She was an adorable little spitfire who ran circles around all of us. I can still see her looking up at me through the tops of her glasses perched at the end of her nose. She was beautiful, funny, feisty, and a force to be reckoned with. I also remember her as a friend, as well as the mom of Amy. She was many things to many people and excelled at everything she did. I am fortunate to have known her, learned from her, and been inspired by her. My heart goes out to Mr. Butch, Amy, Alison, and Brian.

Dear Butch, Amy, Alison, and Brian,
Dave and I are so sorry for your loss. Being nextdoor neighbors for so many years, with the kids growing up together—-nothing can replace those wonderful memories. Chair time in the driveways, with all the kids playing until dark, then all of us moms finally realizing that no one had prepared dinner! Cathy was a beautiful person, inside and out. Her illness may have taken her from you long before she passed, but the sweet memories of Cathy prior to her getting sick will hopefully sustain you during the days ahead. Our prayers are with you and know that even though miles separate
us, you are still an important part of our lives.
