Catherine G. Trentacoste passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the age of 86. She was born January 25, 1928 in New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Trentacoste, Sr. Loving mother of Rosemary and Anthony (Kathy); grandmother of Andrew, Lauren, Chris, Katie, Ben and Danny. Catherine was employed by Houseworks and Riverdale High School. She was outgoing, and loved to cook. She enjoyed her grandchildren, and was a devoted member of St. Benilde Church. Special thanks to our friends at St. Anthony Nursing Home and St. Joseph Hospice.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 8:30 am. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
