Cathryn Scholl Marchese passed away on May 25, 2026. Beloved wife of William Marchese. Devoted mother of Keegan Clare Marchese. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and John Standige; nieces, Leslie Delaune (Kirk) and Susan Goudeau (Jarrod). She was the grand aunt of Kayla (Zack) and Charles Beshenich III (Holly), Kyle (Mariah), Jordan and Cameron Delaune.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clara Keegan Scholl and Henry Amoundes Scholl; as well as her niece, Sheila Standige; and brother-in-law, Stephen Marchese.
Mrs. Marchese was a graduate of Riverdale High School and the University of New Orleans where she was a member of Alpha Theta Epsilon Honor Society. She was a former member of the Holy Rosary Parents Club Board, the Louisiana SPCA, and the New Orleans Spring Fiesta Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 444 Metairie Road in Metairie, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM with a Memorial Mass following at 11 AM. Cathryn will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
