Chad Caccioppi

Chad Caccioppi passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the age of 47. Beloved son of Krista Kreider Caccioppi; Chad is also survived by aunts, Kim Kreider Chartier and Karla Kreider (Maribeth); nephew, Salvador Ciolino (Whitney); great-nephews, Luciano Ciolino, Macen Clubb; great-niece, Zoey Goforth; 1st cousins, Jennifer Barber (Jeremy), Tessa Deslatte (Chris), and Karson Rhodes; 2nd cousins, Kaitlyn Barber Savoie (Seth), Gavin Deslatte, Logan Deslatte, and Kali Barber. Chad is preceded in death by his only brother and best friend, Salvador Joseph Caccioppi III; father, Salvador Joseph Caccioppi Jr. (Sheila); maternal grandparents, Roy and Elsa Kreider; paternal grandparents, Grace and Salvador Joseph Caccioppi Sr.

Chad was born in New Orleans and loved “The New Orleans Saints“ and spending precious time with his family. He had a kind, big heart and was loved by many. Chad will be dearly missed and not forgotten by his family and friends.

Chad’s memorial service will be held at Lake Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2025. Visitation will be from 11:30 am – 1 pm. Mass will follow in Chapel at 1 pm with subsequent cemetery precession.
