Charles was the beloved husband for 59 years of Marilyn Messina Jaume; loving father of Steven Charles Jaume (Molly), Jeffrey Arthur Jaume (Lusy), and the late Allyson Elizabeth Jaume; brother of the late Ellen Labit and Henry Jaume; and son of the late Charles A. Jaume, Sr. and Irma Holley Jaume Chisholm (Danny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was a parishioner for 47 years at Our Lady of Divine Providence in Metairie. He enjoyed going to the race track, and playing slots at the casino, and was an avid fan of the Saints. "Uncle Charlie" especially loved and spoiled his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his generosity and kind spirit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM. The interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
