

Charles attended St. Martin's Episcopal School for several years, graduated from East Jefferson High School, and was married to his high school sweetheart, Patricia (Pat) Wood Lambert for 67 years.
Charles was an entrepreneur and a visionary. He started the first television cable company in Jefferson and St. Charles Parishes. In his younger years, he worked in the family road constructions business as an engineer, then owned a sand and gravel company. In his middle years, Charles enjoyed his beach home on Sandy Hook Drive in Pass Christian, Mississippi, where he spent time with his family and fished and was integral in the construction of the Bay Cove Marina.
Charles is survived by his wife, Pat; their four children, Charles (Chip) S. Lambert (Katrina), Wesley Wood Lambert (Casuarina), Molly S. Lambert, and Lawrence L. Lambert, II (Ashley); and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Donald G. Lambert, Sr. (Sharon), Laurence L. Lambert, Robert J. Lambert, Sr. (Cheryl), Richard C. Lambert (Beth), Anne Lambert Thompson (Bobby), and Randy G. Lambert. He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. Lambert, Jr. and Grace Lillian Lambert; his brothers, John R. Lambert, III (Carolyn) and William Stephen Lambert; and his sisters, Elizabeth Lambert Marten (Ernesto) and Ruth Humphreys Lambert.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Charles's life with a memorial service at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 2216 Metairie Rd. in Metairie, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:30PM. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 12:00PM.
