Charles Stone McFarland

A graduate of Tulane University holding a Bachelor of Arts, Charles served his country in the Air Force Reserve whilst tending to his career in Property and Casualty Insurance. A member of Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, Stratford Club, and the Pass Christian Yacht Club, Charles adored fishing, fixing things, military history, gardening/landscaping, Wingwood, Shakespeare, and his family.

Charles was preceded in death by parents Elizabeth Kennedy McFarland and William Camors McFarland. He is survived by his loving spouse Carolyn Estelle McCall McFarland of 64 years; daughters Marian Stone McFarland McGavran and Charlotte Camors McFarland; and grandchildren Garrett William McGavran and Julia Anderson McGavran. Charles will be truly missed by all.

A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, and interment thereafter at Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124.
