Charles “Charlie” James Rabito, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the age of 90. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Charlie was born on November 27, 1929 to the late Charles Rabito and Catherine Rando Russo.

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Kathleen R. Street (Johnathan); his son, Carl O. Rabito; grandchildren, Jeremy W. Street (Erica), Carl J. Rabito, Dillion A. Courtney and Sophia M. Rabito; and his brother, Emile Rabito (the late Mary); and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by his son, James Rabito.

Charlie was a member of the Pete Fountain Marching Club and the Italian American Marching Club. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to a Dementia/Alzheimer’s foundation of your choice is preferred.

Charlie, George and I both loved you. We recently tried to get in touch with Charlie but had no new numbers. We had lots of good times with Charlie over the past many years. Our condolences go out to your family. I know you are looking down on all of us now. Love and Prayers to all who loved you.
