Charles M. St. Romain, born April 3, 1941, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA. Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Barr St. Romain; his two daughters, Roxanne St. Romain Scallan (Kenneth) and Denise St. Romain; two grandchildren, Kristina Ducote and Corey Ducote; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene St. Romain; his beloved son, Charles M. St. Romain II; and his sister, Lovenia St. Romain Hirstius. Charles served in the U.S. Army 1958-1961 in Ft. Bragg and Germany and was honorably discharged as SP E-4. Charles worked as a New Orleans Firefighter, promoted to Operator and retired in 1991 at age 50. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 11am until a Funeral Mass at 1pm.
