A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in enviromental engineering. Charles was the beloved son of Ann Faulk and Dr. Tooley Towns. He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Dr. Peter Towns (Elizabeth), his sisters, Beverly Towns and Meghan Towns, and his nephews and nieces, Jack and Charles Bernard and Caroline and Hughes Towns.
He enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether it was in the Atchafalaya Spillway, fishing in Lake Verret, spending time in Shell Beach or walking our pier on the Mississippi Coast as kids.
His participation in family events was always welcomed with a big hug, a smile and easy conversation.
He enjoyed discussing history, current events, sports and which book he was reading at the time.
Charles was the first born son, the oldest brother, an uncle, a brother-in-law, and a friend that will be missed, but his smile will live in our memories.
