

Tina was born March 19, 1952 to Warren Kearny Watters and Chastine Hardy Watters.
She is also survived by her husband, Russell Van Fleet; her former spouse, Frederick Lindsley; her sons,
Frederick Nelson Lindsley and Warren Hardy Lindsley; her grandson, Conrad Stetson Lindsley; sisters, Mary Neilson Watters and Cecile Kearny Watters Tebo.
She is preceded in death by her beloved uncle, William R. Hardy.
Tina was a member of the second graduating class at Trinity Episcopal School. She then was a graduate of Louise McGehee School. She attended The University of the South at Sewanee and the John Knox Presbyterian Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale. Tina was a member of the Junior League of New Orleans and The National Society of Colonial Dames in New Orleans.
Tina was an exceptionally gifted and imaginative artist. She owned and operated make-up businesses both in New Orleans and Boca Raton.
The motto at Trinity Episcopal School is, "gentle, generous, truthful, kind and brave".
Tina personified each of these qualities throughout her life.
Tina was filled with the Holy Spirit and her primary mission in her adult life was to spread The Word of God.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, officiated by the Reverend Kit McLean and Reverend William Barnwell, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1329 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130 at 11:00 a.m. A brief visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow the services at the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish House. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Trinity Episcopal Perpetual Memorial and Endowment Fund, 1329 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130, or a to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
