Chelsi Hampton-Gourrier

Chelsi Hampton-Gourrier was born on May 9, 1985 to Audrey Hampton and Charlie Hampton in New Orleans, LA. After graduating from Archbishop Blenk H.S. in 2003, she went on to study at University of New Orleans and University of Texas A&M. Upon completion, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked aside her parents at their family business, eventually growing a business of her own.

In 2001, she met her husband Greg, and they married on December 15, 2007 going on to have a loving daughter, Charli Gourrier. She treasured her daughter and embraced every moment with her.

Spending time with family and friends was Chelsi’s passion and delight. She enjoyed spending summers at her parents’ hometown of St. Francisville, LA. Chelsi loved traveling the world and seeing all it had to offer. She traveled abroad to Abu Dhabi, the Bahamas, Barcelona, Cairo, Cancun, Dubai, Florence, Jamaica, London, Milan, Paris, Rome, Slovenia, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Trieste and Venice, just to name a few.

Chelsi was preceded in death by her son, Chance Gourrier; her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents; and her nephew, Christopher Wilson.

To cherish Chelsi’s memories are her parents, Audrey Hampton and Charlie Hampton, her devoted husband Greg Gourrier, her beautiful daughter Charli Gourrier, her brother Carlos Hampton, her niece and godchild, Chyler Hampton; her nephews, Christian Carter and Cross Carter; and godchildren, Marquis Matthews and Dashone Dunomes. She also leaves behind a host of loving relatives and friends.
