Christina Squire-Anderson

Christina Squire-Anderson was born on May 26, 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Eddie and Vera Squire. Christina departed this life on November 11, 2014 at the age of 33. Christina was the second oldest child of three. Christina grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where she attended Lawrence D. Crocker Elementary School and L. E. Rabouin High School. While in high school, she took Cosmetology classes. Following high school, in 2000, while attending college, she worked at a Snowball Stand and met Derrick Jason Anderson. During their relationship, three kids were born: Jade Lita Anderson, Jason Charles Anderson and Jala Mileena Anderson. Over the years, Christina finished college and worked as a care giver in a nursery. Christina was also heavily involved in several activities at her kid’s school and other activities outside of their school. Christina spent her adult life taking care of her family. She found joy in her true passion of styling hair. She is survived by her father and mother Eddie and Vera Squire, sister and brother, Valena Squire-Scott and Peter Squire and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one (1) Great Grandmother, Grandmother, Grandfather, Uncle and Aunt. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Blessed Trinity Parish Catholic Church, 4230 S Broad St, New Orleans, on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 am.
