Christopher Douglas Snyder passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Metairie, Louisiana. Chris was born on April 28, 1981. He was the beloved son of Gina T. Snyder and the late Douglas Dean Snyder. He is survived by his daughters, Kali Marie Snyder, Katie Leigh Snyder, and Cameryn Hall Snyder; his brothers, Michael Joseph Snyder (Alicia) and Matthew James Snyder (April); his nephews, J.D. Snyder and Beau Snyder; and nieces, Adriana Snyder and Tobi Jean Snyder.
Chris was an avid sports fan and loved all things New Orleans Saints. He was a skilled carpenter and “jack of all trades”.
Chris will be remembered for his loving heart and dedication to his family, especially his three girls.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11 AM with eulogies following in the chapel at 1 PM. Chris will be laid to rest in All Saints Mausoleum immediately after the chapel service has concluded.
