

Willard Clinton "Clint" Reeder Mouser passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Metairie, LA at the age of eighty. Clint, who lived in Jefferson Parish for sixty-five years, was born in Houston, Texas on September 25, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Bonnie Mouser. He is survived by his wife, of fifty-seven years, Virginia Baudouin Mouser, and his children, Maria Mouser Zamber (Michael) and Lisa Mouser Morton, his grandchildren, Cassie LaRocca, Tanner Morton, and Tess Morton, and his great grandson, Ethan Trapp.
Clint graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy in San Marcos, Texas, and attended classes at Delgado and Tulane. Throughout his education, he enjoyed longtime memberships in the ROTC and choir. He worked as a professional photographer for several local newspapers and also provided services to private clients. He truly enjoyed his work as a photographer. He proudly retired in 2000 from Chevron Chemical Company Oak Point Plant in Belle Chasse, where he worked as a draftsman and construction supervisor. He was a current representative of PFS Investments, Inc. as a licensed insurance and securities agent and was the current treasurer and valued leader of the Louisiana Wildlife Federation (LWF). Clint has been a member of the New Orleans Power Squadron since 1994 and was a current committee member. He has enjoyed several integral roles within the organization over the last twenty-seven years. Clint loved boating and fishing, teaching maritime safety, advocating for conservation and natural resource protection, and engaging with other outdoor enthusiasts. He was an early, long time member of the Jefferson Rod and Gun Club, and held several positions including president (1984-85). During his years of membership in the club, he received several awards including tenure in the Lucien Dupuy Memorial Award which he was awarded for nine years. He served as weigh master for a multitude of fishing rodeos throughout Jefferson and Orleans parishes.
Clint's wife and family were always his priority. He was a loving and dedicated husband, proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His honesty, exemplification of responsibility, and patriotism will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum, St Joseph Corridor, in Metairie Cemetery.
