All I can remember from my young life is my Dad being very proud of his heritage (Louisiana and NOLA). It was a special thrill although we didn't know why, but Reggie (my dad and Clyde's big brother) used to take us kids (Miami,FL) to Mardi Gras because it was his history and wanted to make it ours. I am so glad he did. He loved his baby brother and we would feel that love when we went to New Orleans. Uncle Clyde and Aunt Annabelle would take us into their home (where we would play and enjoy our cousins) and give us the royal treatment. I will always love my family and the memories are burned into my heart. I love Uncle Clyde and his family (my family) forever. I hope God enjoys Clyde's company as I have. RPI Uncle Clyde.

While I was living in Florida for a few years I brought my mother Flo (Clyde's sister) to be near me.  His trip was to be so he could spend sometime with his sister. Except he spent almost all his time with me. We would stay up most of the night sitting outside by a friends pool. Those talks will always with me, we totally became family.  We were able to share all the stories (good and bad) about one another's life. Uncle Clyde you are loved and will be missed. 

I enjoyed working with Clyde at South Central Bell, BellSouth and later ATT in both the Construction and Repair departments for many years.  He was a proud veteran, great man and solid friend.  He always spoke with great pride anytime conversations turned to family about all of his kids.   

Thank you for your service to our country and friendship thru the years.  Deepest condolences to all the family.

We have wonderful memories of your mother and father, both in scouting and as friends outside of scouting. We are glad that they were a part of our life. Condolences to your family.

I have many wonderful memories of Mr Livaudais growing up.  Some involving Mater Dolorosa, but most were with the Boy Scouts and Troop 73.  He, Mr Mack, Mr Johnson along with my dad were all great roll models to learn from.  Blessings to his whole family including my good friend Greg that they continue to celebrate his life.

Memories of my grandpa begin with visits to his house almost every day after school. Homework, The Little Rascals or Shirley Temple, computer games in the spare room, and always snacks (usually a jar of peaches or a box of raisins). A hug hello, a hug goodbye with a "Love you, sweetie." There were a few things I learned about my grandpa as I grew older: He worked for the telephone company to support his family, he was an ex-POW of the Korean War, he had friends all over the country, he had traveled all over the world. He was a carpenter in his spare time! (And I was very excited when he asked me to draw for him a fleur de lis so he could carve it into a shelf that he built for me.) But the way I knew him the most was someone who was always there. He went to sports competitions, school events, every new Sacrament to celebrate, every family gathering, and he was there to help take care of me and my brothers after school.  Paw-paw was many things to many people, but above all, I think there are three words that sum up his presence in our lives -- Reliable, Caretaker, Loved. I know his soul rests peacefully. We love you, Paw-paw.

Clyde was a great neighbor and true American Hero.  I loved the time I spent with him and Annabell.  I think about them every time that I look at their house and the beautiful shutters on my house that Clyde helped me build.  Life was always good for him whenever  you asked how he was doing.  He never left our memories when he moved away and his passing will not change that.  While I missed his presence, I knew that he was happy.  God will take Clyde into his arms with great pleasure.  

We all love you dad. May you rest in peace and be in the loving care of God and all the angels and saints. May you and mom spend eternity in the company of the blessed Lord. I love you.

Our deepest condolences go out to Irma and the family.  Clyde will never be forgotten.  He was loved by all that knew him.  He was an extremely caring and kind man. In our memories and hearts you will stay.
