Concepcion Rosa "Mami Concha" passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, November 29, 2019. She was 96 years of age. She was born in Santa Barbara, Honduras on November 5, 1923 to the late Nicolas Teruel and Otilia Sabillon; beloved wife of the late Adolfo Rosa; loving mother of Zoila Rosa and Otilia Abdo, and the late Betty Umaña; grandmother of Edgardo Umaña, Teddis Galvez, Asafft Abdo, Fuad Abdo, and Yamil Abdo, and the late Roberto Umaña and Kevin Umaña; great grandmother of Carlos Sabido, Daniel Sabido, Jasmine Umaña, Alexandra Abdo, and Kevin Roberto Umaña; sister of the late Andres Teruel and Hipolito Teruel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Ave. in Metairie, on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 12:30PM. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
