Constance “Connie” Gsell Gauchet passed away late on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Born to parents Frank and Emily Gsell on October 19, 1956, Connie lived in New Orleans all her life where she worked as a teacher in Jefferson Parish schools for 32 years. She is remembered lovingly by her husband Danny, her daughters Kate and Michelle, her brothers Gordon Gsell (Toby), Michael Gsell, and Wayne Gsell (Joey), her brothers-in-law Stanley Gauchet (Kathy) and Mark Gauchet, her sister-in-law Pam Schroeder (John), her nieces and nephews, her grand-niece and grand-nephews, her cousins, and her wonderful friends. She loved sitting on her porch, reading, and entertaining visitors. She will forever be missed. Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11 A.M. Visitation will begin at 10 A.M. Interment will be private.
