

Corinne Knobloch Treuting passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 95. She was born on September 21, 1925 in New Orleans and was a 1945 graduate of Loyola University and a founding parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen. A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is remembered for her big personality and quick wit. She left a lasting impression on everyone who met her and will be greatly missed. She was also a gifted seamstress and an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by: her husband of 64 years, Frank Treuting; her parents, Corinne Ledet Knobloch and Guy J. Knobloch; her sister, Lydia McAulay; and her brother, Guy J. Knobloch, Jr. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Treuting Hall and Ann Treuting Nicholson; her sons, David Treuting (Mel), Stephen Treuting (Debbie), and Jimmy Treuting (Karen); her seven grandchildren, Michael Treuting Hall, Nicole Treuting Curry, Christopher Treuting, Brian Treuting, Brad Treuting, James Treuting, and Katherine Treuting; and her nine great-grandchildren, David Patrick Curry, Elle Curry, William Hall, Jax Treuting, Mia Treuting, Jacob Treuting, Katharine Treuting, Leah Treuting, and Allie Treuting.
