Cornelius "Neil" K. Langham, III

Cornelius “Neil” K. Langham, III passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024, at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jennie G. Langham and Cornelius K. Langham, Jr. and sister, Nancy Langham Mitchell. He was the beloved husband of Juliet Trapani Langham. Neil was a devoted father to his loving children, Lori Langham Black (Richard), Leslie Langham O'Neal (John), and Neil Louis Langham (Erica), and adored grandchildren, Benjamin and Juliet Black, Nicholas, Camella, and Frankie O'Neal and Madelynn, Logan and Emmett Langham. He is also survived by his dearly loved cousins, Linda Watson, Patsy Buchanan, Beth Buchanan Heath and Melanie Sherrod, and in-laws, Joy Feraci Trapani, Susan and Craig Famularo, Charles Trapani, Joy and Aldo Cazenave, Carol Trapani Courtois, and Lisa and Karl Indest. He was so proud of and loved all his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

He was a graduate of John McDonogh Senior High School, Class of 1964 and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He was a member of the basketball team in both high school and college.

Neil (Coach Neil) coached boys & girls' basketball at Saint Clement of Rome for over 20 years & coached softball, basketball & baseball at various playgrounds in Jefferson Parish. He loved to coach and play ball. He enjoyed traveling and most of all he loved family vacations, being with his children, their spouses and grandchildren.

He was a long-time member of the Over the Mountain Athletic Club (OTMAC). He owned and operated J&N Printing, Inc. for many years.

All family, friends, and members of Lakeview Presbyterian Church are invited to join us remembering Neil on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home and Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the service at 12:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Alex Lee-Cornell. The interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
