Craig Edward Tolson

Craig Edward Tolson passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015 surrounded by his family and friends. Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Fannie Pecot Boyer; his parents Walter and Helen Boyer Tolson; and his brother Wayne Tolson. He is survived by his wife Shelley Engelhardt Tolson; daughter Brooke Michelle Marchand (Clay), and aunt Claire Boyer.

Craig also leaves behind his “band of brothers” from TQ and the Topcats with whom he performed as the lead singer for many years. He attended De La Salle High School, graduate of 1972, Tulane University, and graduated from UNO. Craig enjoyed playing golf when he wasn’t dedicating his time to his business, Tolson Advertising. Craig was loved by everyone he came in contact with and will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service honoring his life on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time. Interment will take place at All Saints Mausoleum immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or the USO.
